The mission of the Sunz of Sankofa is to create an educational and cultural paradigm that is aligned to the indigenous wisdom teachings and deep thought of Afraka. By innerstanding the laws that govern nature and the Universe, our goal is to establish youth and adult rite of passage experiences that promote the holistic development of one's spiritual, mental and physical identity. Through the interaction with sacred ancient Afrakan values, rituals, concepts, symbols, sounds and pedagogy our members will be able to identify, claim and actualize their divine life purpose.

We currently have daytime session and afterschool programs running in schools throughout the New York area.
